Do I need an appointment to sell?
No appointment needed. Walk in during business hours and we’ll take a look. Want a ballpark before you drive over? Call us at (970) 879-7565 and tell us what you’ve got.
What types of firearms do you buy?
We buy handguns, rifles, and shotguns — modern and vintage — plus collectibles, antiques, and estate collections. If it’s in reasonable condition and legal to own, we’re interested. We’ll also look at quality optics and accessories.
How do you determine the value?
We look at current market value, the firearm’s condition, brand, model demand, and our current inventory needs. Our appraisals are based on real market data — fair and transparent, not guesswork.
Cash or store credit — what’s the difference?
Cash is paid on the spot, same day. Store credit is typically worth more, and it applies to anything in the shop — firearms, ammo, optics, accessories. If you’re planning a purchase anyway, store credit stretches further.
Do I need any paperwork?
Just a valid Colorado photo ID. We handle all the transfer paperwork on our end. The process is quick and straightforward.
Do I need a background check to sell?
Not on you. As the seller, you don’t go through a background check. Colorado law does require the transfer run through a licensed dealer — that’s us — and we run the required CBI check as part of the paperwork. Just bring a valid Colorado photo ID.
What if my gun doesn’t work or is in rough shape?
Bring it in anyway. We buy in every condition — safe queens to beaters, non-functional, even rusted. The offer reflects condition, but plenty of guns still carry collector or parts value.
I inherited a collection — can you help?
Absolutely. Estate collections are one of our specialties. We’ll review the whole lot, make offers on individual pieces or the entire collection, and walk you through the transfer paperwork. Call ahead for a large collection so we can set aside time.
How long does the evaluation take?
Most single firearms are evaluated in about 15–20 minutes. Bringing in a larger collection? Call ahead so we can block out time and give it proper attention.
Do you buy ammo, accessories, or optics too?
We primarily buy firearms, but we’ll look at quality optics, magazines, and accessories on a case-by-case basis. Bring them along when you come in.
